They are organic, cause no pollution and their songs fill the air with beautiful music. Vegetarian bird species are often fed with specially crafted feeders. Most are equipped with squirrel proofing, still, those determined critters still figure how to get in. Birds come in a wide range of shapes and sizes and eat specialized diets of seeds. Most commonly, human constructed bird houses are lived in by Bluebirds, Robins, Chickadees, Wrens, House Finches, Flickers and Martins. By making available homes of the proper dimension and shape for each bird species, the gardener allows them a safe haven for their young. While the babies are growing, its mom and dad can easily find food close to the nest, thus keeping the baby safe and adequately fed. At most yard and garden stores, birdhouses can be bought in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and styles. Because houses for birds are commonly quite simple, they can be readily built by the average gardener. It's also an activity that a group of children, such as a scouting troop, can engage in. Having made and placed their custom birdhouse, children and grown-ups alike will be excited about watching new birds move in. In order to get the most out of your property, birds are truly one of the best additions. They'll flock to you if they can find the food, water and shelter they need. Year after year, the birds will return to lay their eggs, raise their young and act as your own personal exterminator.
