Squeeze pages are pages that are specifically designed to get capture names and e-mail addresses. Some marketers will also refer to squeeze pages as "lead capture pages". It is important to recognize that all successful marketers use squeeze pages to get visitors to become either a subscriber or a buyer. If you plan to sell any type of product over the internet you will need to learn how to build and use squeeze pages. Marketers all have their own system of how they use their squeeze pages, but most will often offer a subscription to a newsletter or a bonus such as a free ebook/report or video in exchange for the visitors name and e-mail address. A good free report to give away as a bonus on your squeeze page is one that goes into depth about one of the features and benefits of a product you are promoting. The report would have links to your pre-sell pages and website pages or affiliate pages, thus increasing your chances of making a sale. Most squeeze pages are very short and fit completely above the fold of the page. The structure of the squeeze page is: 1) Powerful Attention Grabbing Headline 2) Introduction of who you are and what this is about 3) Three to five bullet points with benefits of the product and opting in 4) Your Bonus (Free report/ebook, video, software, newsleter subscription) 5) Strong Call-To-Action with your Opt-In The headline should convey a benefit of the product. A good example would be "Save Time and Money Using Article Submitter To Submit Your Articles To Hundreds of Sites With Ease! " The bullet points should also be benefits of getting the product. Don’t try to sell the product by listing features. A benefit would be that "Leaves You More Time To Spend With Your Family" rather than using a selling feature of "Faster Than Any Other Submission Software Available". Your call to action needs to pull them in to submit their name and email now. A good call to action would be "Only 20 More Available" or "The Price Will Be Increasing In 2 Days". There are then a number of options as to where you can direct your squeeze page once the visitor completes their name and e-mail. You can send them directly to the page to receive your free bonus, or you can send them to a thank-you page which includes one time offers for your products/affiliate products or additional bonuses that you can package together for a one time price. The point is to try to upsell them now that you’ve given them something for free. Once you’ve captured your visitor’s information by creating a good high converting squeeze pages, the marketing possibilities are endless. You can follow-up with e-mails for products your promoting, you can send them to one or maybe two one-time-offer pages, you can send them your free report with your product and website links, you can send them information on advertising in your newsletter (ezine) and on and on. Make sure that your squeeze pages are specific to the market you are promoting. If your niche is toys, and you sell several different types of toys, you will need to build squeeze pages for each specific toy you are marketing. Don’t just build one single squeeze page using the general term of "toys" If the customer doesn’t find any information on the squeeze page that refers to the exact type of toy he is interested in…he will leave the page and you’ve lost his information forever.
