How To Rent Films Online

By: Alex Harding

In the past year or so, already established offline DVD renting brands like Blockbuster have moved the whole film renting business on the net, which operates the same way as it used to normally really, the only thing is you pick the films you would like to rent from your computer, also it’s a load cheaper!
Once you received the DVD (by post) and watched it, you send it back to them in a pre paid envelope. The major change I saw between online and offline DVD rental is that online is less expensive, and much more giving in the number of DVD's you can rent and the amount of weeks you can rent them. Although the companies vary a lot in their deals, the bargain factor of them are all exceptional.
Just thik how much a regular DVD rental company dont have to spend by not using physical resources such as a building, people, and display - so encouraging on the net dvd rental is in dvd companys best interest, and creating the offers to encourage us to rent it on the web is the way forward.
There is a load of brands to select from and most adopt the monthly payment model as the normal option. So for a fixed fee every month you can rent a certain amount of DVD’s at a time, and once you send them back you receive the next batch. LoveFilm in the UK have recently introduced a PAYG service where you’re not committed into any contract.
Tesco, Amazon, LoveFilm and Blockbuster are a few of the businesses jumping on this new venture, competing with amazing deals. All companies have a fantastic choice and some offer more than DVD rental, with game renting too, which works on the same principle.
My advice, is to look at the amount of DVD’s you hire a month now offline, and if it’s less than one a month you probably wont want to be committed into any recurring DVD renting subscription. If it’s maybe one or two every 30 days consider a low monthly contract and so forth.
