Personalized Banners For Themed Parties And Baby Showers Are Still The ‘In’ Thing

By: Raymond Plona

Parties are wonderful social events where friends and family meet and have fun together. There are so many different reasons why anyone would host a party – reunion, birthday, anniversary, cultural celebration, baby shower, bridal shower or just because. Here, we will feature some ways how you can add a little bit more fun and ambience into your party, whether it is a theme party or a baby shower you are planning.
The first thing party planners would consider is the decorations. Having a themed party means you can focus your décor on the theme thus avoiding other unnecessary decorations. Being fun and spontaneous is what it is all about. You will soon find out having your thoughts focused will lift you off a very heavy burden on thinking.
Decorating for a themed party cannot do without creativity. Popular themes are Halloween, 60’s Night, Military and Cocktail Evenings. There are a couple of ways you can pull this off:
- You can do this with words. For example, ALOHA for a party with Hawaiian theme and IT’S A GIRL for baby girl showers.
- While words can take up a lot of space, pictures can say more than a thousand words. Have a picture instead of the two together.
To have personalized theme party banners that does not signify your theme the moment someone looks at it means you have chosen something a little too ambiguous. The sign you put up should tell straight away the theme of the party. A Hawaiian party should for example show anything that is in fact associated with Hawaiian customs and a baby shower should have the usual baby things like bottles and what not.
Baby showers are parties for welcoming babies who are yet to be born. The guests who are usually women will perhaps bring gifts along for the baby or mother.
Baby shower party favors are usually presented to guests as a sign of gratitude for their support and gifts. When giving these favors, remember that these gifts you are giving are meant for your guest and NOT their babies. Try not to get mixed-up with this – they give you presents for your baby while you give them a little gift for themselves!
When it comes to giving favors to women guests, one will never run out of ideas. Soaps in the shapes of building blocks with pastel colors, B-A-B-Y spelled building blocks that can hold cards and cute candles are all the ideas of shower favors for babies.
One way to come up with unique party favors for baby showers is to make them yourself. Put M&M or gourmet tea or coffee in small sized baby bottles. You can even put baby potpourris in them. They will look tons of times better after you are done with the decoration. Not only are they pretty, they are money saving as well. Personalizing small party banners can do just as well for favors too.
Another unique idea for a baby shower favor is the disposable camera which comes with imprinted messages. These are specially-created instant cameras that will print all your photos with captions like “IT’S A BOY!” or “IT’S A GIRL!” on them. These will prove useful when the guests come and visit when the baby has arrived as it creates a ready-made personalized photo of them with the new arrival.
Your baby shower party favors should be a practical gift for your guests while serve as a reminder of your new baby. Fusing both ideas is not always as difficult as it sounds.
Baby showers and theme parties always look better with personalized theme party banners. You can hang them at the entrance or facing the entryway so it is the first thing that guests see when they walk in. Smaller versions can be scattered all around the walls and sides of the venue as a reminder of the theme.
