Things You Should Avoid When Designing Your Website

The creation of a website is an innovative measure especially for the purpose of advertisement and marketing in your business. The issue in this case is not just a website but what picture it portrays to the visitors and this one has an effect to your business either positive or negative. Avoiding mistakes will determine what outcome your website deserves.

Some of the things you should be in the look out include;
Colors: The use of colors especially bright ones is not recommendable in a website. You may have visited so many websites and disliked something about them, this gives you the opportunity to think and give your site the best combination of colors that will be friendly to the eyes of that visitor but not the one that the user will be forced to put on glasses to meet the visibility. This leaves us with the con conclusion that the color that we use should be of no doubt to us.

Lights: The lights welcoming a visitor on your site should be considered a lot since different visitors will be pleased or not and this should accommodate all these visitors with some of them having seizures which makes one prone to illness. The flashing lights may make some of the visitors to fall sick and you should avoid them to ensure that your visitors will always come again and again.

Music and animation: Mostly, the music that welcomes a visitor to the site should be regulated. Some sites contain a very loud music when opened. This shocks the visitor and irritates them hence developing a bad attitude towards your site. A suggestion could be availing the option for listening to music rather than exposing it as a must for the visitors to listen. This is quite annoying depending on the time the visitor opens your site for instance when children are asleep and when you have a sick person whom you do not want to disturb.

Images: Images are worth a million words. This does not give us the opportunity to misuse this fact but only the way to use them effectively. Since graphics take long to down load, we should use simple and limited images in our websites to reduce the opening speed especially the use multiple images is not recommended.

Domain presentation: This is one of the biggest mistakes that one can make especially if you are doing it on behalf of the client. This mistake can arise for example due to spelling mistakes or poor pronunciation on voice and can be a very bad mess to the entire process.

Website privacy: Always ensure that your site is password protected from the client access to the hoist statistics folders because this may create a bad image to your site for instance if a client accesses your traffic statistics.

Exposure of a vital company in formation: A company may provide some details to the designer that are aimed at assisting him in his work and unknowingly uses them as part of the web content hence exposing very vital information about the company.

Other issues will include; closing a site for maintenance, hyperlinks reliability among others.
